Situated in the heart of the picturesque South Downs on the River Adur, the Rising Sun pub warmly greets you as you enter the quiet village of Upper Beeding from the south.

Locals and visitors alike enjoy the range of beers and local ales and the delicious home-cooked food, and you can be assured of a warm welcome from the friendly staff.

Further hospitality is available in the bright and modern B&B accommodation, where after a comfortable night's sleep and a hearty breakfast, you are well placed to explore the beautiful Sussex countryside. The pub is a regular stopping-off point for people walking or cycling the legendary South Downs Way.

The 'Riser' (as it is affectionately known) is also well known for quality music provided by local bands, regular quiz nights, theme nights, and an annual Beer and Music Festival.
